India's IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and NIT Durgapur announce JRF recruitment 2026
The Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad has opened applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under the ANRF‑ECRG project titled π‑DUST, which focuses on physics‑informed data‑driven modeling and uncertainty quantification for structural twins. Eligible candidates must hold a first‑class B.Tech/M.E./M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Applied Mechanics, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Engineering or related fields, be GATE qualified, and possess knowledge of solid mechanics, structural dynamics or finite‑element methods. The salary range is Rs 37,000–42,000 per month. Interested candidates must submit their applications via email by 4 August 2026, with a walk‑in interview scheduled for 5 August 2026.
