India's Intercity Bus Operators Expand Fleet with New Partnerships
Intercity travel platform zingbus announced Memorandums of Understanding with 50 bus operators to deploy more than 200 premium and electric buses over the next year. The rollout will focus on high‑demand corridors such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Goa, and includes an plan to introduce over 50 electric buses in 2026 and grow the electric fleet to 1,000 vehicles by 2030.
Aadinath Bulk Pvt. Ltd., a Gujarat‑based mobility firm, now runs over 375 buses and carries nearly one million passengers each month. The company aims to increase its fleet to 1,000 buses within two years, expanding services across public transport, premium intercity travel, school mobility and cargo logistics. Both companies are pushing for higher service standards, digital distribution and greater electric mobility in India’s bus sector.
