India's JIPMER and JKPSC Launch 2026 Recruitment for Medical and Academic Posts

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) issued a notification for 15 Group A and B positions, including roles such as Controller of Examinations, Registrar, System Analyst, Computer Programmer, Purchase Officer, Data Processing Assistant, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Controller of Examinations, and Accounts Officer. Applicants must be no older than 56 and hold the required qualifications. Offline applications are accepted until 21 September 2026.

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) opened online applications for 70 backlog Assistant Professor vacancies across 24 disciplines in government colleges of the Union Territory. The recruitment is limited to domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir, with age reckoned as of 1 January 2026. Applications are available from 1 August to 31 August 2026, after which a short editing window follows. Selections will be made through a written exam and subsequent commission procedures.
