India's Manipal Hospitals leads wave of July IPOs

A suite of Indian companies is preparing to list on the NSE and BSE in July and August 2024. Manipal Health Enterprises, the parent of Manipal Hospitals, has filed a draft prospectus for a fresh issue of up to ₹8,000 crore and an offer for sale of 4.32 crore shares, with proceeds earmarked mainly for subsidiary‑level debt repayment. Other main‑board IPOs include Milky Mist Dairy Foods, targeting a ₹1,785 crore fresh issue plus a ₹250 crore offer for sale, and Caliber Mining & Logistics, which opened bidding on July 17 for a ₹400 crore fresh issue and a ₹50 crore offer for sale.

Additional offerings scheduled for the week of July 20 feature Cube Highways Trust (₹5,000 crore offer for sale), Indo MIM, Lohia Corp and Extranet Technologies, together raising roughly ₹5,254 crore across seven main‑board and three SME listings. Proceeds will be used for debt repayment, capital investment and working‑capital needs, underscoring a robust primary‑market pipeline in India's equity markets.
