India's Ministry of Defence wins Rajbhasha Kirti Award 2025-26

India's Ministry of Defence has been awarded the Rajbhasha Kirti Award 2025-26 for its exemplary implementation of the official language, Hindi. The award was presented to Additional Secretary Manish Tripathi by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during the Sixth All India Rajbhasha Conference held in Navi Mumbai.

The Ministry of Defence secured first place in the category for ministries and departments with more than 300 personnel. The conference, organized by the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs, was attended by approximately 7,000 participants.

On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized that Hindi plays a vital role in strengthening public communication, good governance, and national integration. He noted that the language is increasingly becoming a medium for technology and research. Other leaders, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, also issued greetings, describing Hindi as a powerful expression of India's culture and a tool for national unity.
