India's Ministry of Home Affairs to launch Special Campaign 6.0
The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is preparing for Special Campaign 6.0, an annual initiative aimed at improving administrative efficiency and cleanliness within government offices. Scheduled to run from October 2 to October 31, 2026, the campaign follows a preparatory phase focused on identifying pending references and reviewing obsolete records.
Conducted under the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the initiative seeks to reduce pendency in matters involving Members of Parliament, state governments, and public grievances. For the MHA, the campaign will prioritize creating sustainable workplaces and improving record management, particularly in field and outstation offices.
