India's Monsoon Session Parliament Advances Key Bills Amid Opposition Standoffs

Opposition parties have repeatedly adjourned proceedings, demanding debate on issues such as the NEET paper‑leak controversy, alleged police excesses at Jantar Mantar, and the Ram Mandir donation row. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to present the Demands for Excess Grants for 2022‑23. The ongoing standoff is expected to shape the legislative and political landscape of the Modi government.
