India's MSME Ministry holds PM Vishwakarma workshops for artisans

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has conducted awareness workshops under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme to support artisans and traditional craftspeople. These programs focus on enhancing entrepreneurial capabilities through training in branding, marketing, and digital tools.

In Peren, a workshop was held to provide technical insights on product packaging, labeling, design, and export development. Sessions also covered financial literacy, credit facilities, and the use of artificial intelligence and e-commerce onboarding to improve marketability.

Similarly, in Rajouri, the MSME-Development and Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO) Jammu organized a program to educate artisans on government support schemes, skill development, and emerging digital tools. The initiative aims to improve the visibility and quality of locally produced goods while promoting inclusive economic development and entrepreneurship.
