On July 29 and 30, 2026, oil marketing companies (OMCs) kept retail prices for petrol and diesel unchanged across major Indian cities. The announced rates were set at 6 a.m. daily.

Petrol prices ranged from a low of ₹98.10 per litre in Chandigarh to a high of ₹115.69 in Hyderabad, with New Delhi at ₹102.12 and Mumbai at ₹111.18. Diesel prices varied between ₹86.09 per litre in Chandigarh and ₹104.40 in Thiruvananthapuram, while New Delhi was ₹95.20 and Mumbai ₹97.83.

These figures follow modest hikes earlier in the year that reflected rising global crude‑oil costs amid the West Asia crisis, but the latest updates show no further change, keeping fuel costs stable for commuters and transport operators nationwide.
