India's quick commerce and food delivery sectors expand with Nykaa hire and awards

Nykaa has appointed former Swiggy Instamart COO Ankit Jain to head its quick‑commerce arm, Nykaa Now. The platform, which offers beauty, personal care and wellness products with 30‑ to 60‑minute delivery, now operates in 13 Indian cities and aims to scale its rapid‑fulfilment service.

At the third Times Food Delivery Awards – North 2026 in New Delhi, the fast‑growing Indian food‑delivery ecosystem was recognised. Winners included restaurant chains such as Moti Mahal Delux, Biryani by Kilo and Goila Butter Chicken, as well as cloud‑kitchen and coffee brands. Actor Gulshan Grover served as chief guest. The ceremony highlighted the sector’s shift toward digitally powered hospitality, with awards also honoring health‑focused concepts, women‑led brands and ecosystem enablers.
