India's Ram Temple chadhava scandal triggers government crackdown

Swami Chidanand Saraswati, head of Parmarth Niketan, addressed a press conference in Haridwar on 26 June, urging the public not to be misled and to trust the recent SIT report on the Ram Temple chadhava fraud. He said, “इतने कम समय में एसआईटी की रिपोर्ट सामने आ गई है, इससे बड़ी बात और क्या हो सकती है?” and asserted that both state and central governments would take action against anyone found guilty, with no one exempt. Saraswati praised the governments, highlighted the Ram Temple as a national symbol, and called for confidence in constitutional processes while the investigation continues.
