India's Ram Temple Donation Scandal Prompts Calls for CBI Probe

Religious leaders allege that donations intended for the Ram Temple trust were misappropriated, with claims that the missing amount could range from 200 crore to 1,000 crore rupees. Acharya Pramod Krishna, a senior figure in the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, urged the Central Bureau of Investigation to take over the case, saying a transparent inquiry is essential to restore the faith of millions of devotees. Both speakers criticised opposition parties for politicising the issue and expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will ensure accountability.
