India's Sonam Maskar and Himanshu Dhillon clinch bronze in 10m air rifle mixed team at Hangzhou World Cup

Indian rifle shooters Sonam Uttam Maskar and Himanshu Dhillon won the bronze medal in the 10 metre air‑rifle mixed‑team event at the ISS International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Hangzhou on July 28. The pair posted a qualification total of 634.6 and scored 441.2 points in the final, finishing behind two Chinese teams. Their achievement raised India’s overall medal tally at the competition to four – one gold, one silver and two bronze. Maskar said the competition was tough and the medal boosts confidence ahead of the Asian Games and World Championships, while Dhillon, on his first senior World Cup final, called the experience “great” and “special”.
