India's top business schools expand AI-focused MBA and undergraduate programs
Several Indian Institutes of Management, including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Ranchi, IIM Jammu and IIM Visakhapatnam, have introduced dedicated MBA pathways that integrate artificial intelligence, machine learning and business analytics into their curricula. These programs aim to equip future business leaders with predictive analytics, generative AI and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has extended its NMIMS Horizon initiative to undergraduate programmes across its engineering, science, pharmacy and commerce schools. The rollout will serve roughly 40,000 students, providing AI‑focused learning through Coursera resources, faculty‑led mentoring, projects and assessments. Faculty members are undergoing specialised training to embed AI concepts within existing courses, ensuring that AI education becomes part of the academic experience rather than a standalone certification.
