The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) reported that the Indian mutual‑fund industry’s assets under management reached ₹81.58 lakh crore as of May 2026, with SIP assets at ₹16.64 lakh crore. Expert analysis recommends several funds for systematic investment plans, notably the Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund – AUM of ₹1,41,446.73 crore with a three‑year rolling return of 19.23% – and the HDFC Flexi Cap Fund – AUM of ₹1,06,495.63 crore and a 15.83% return since inception. The guidance also outlines a balanced allocation strategy using a SIP calculator: 60% equity, 30% debt, 10% hybrid/liquid, and suggests annual SIP increases of 10% to boost long‑term corpus. Regular rebalancing is advised to maintain target risk levels.
