Indictment confirmed for crimes against humanity in Sanski Most and Manjača
An indictment has been confirmed regarding crimes against humanity committed in Sanski Most and Manjača. The indictment names Drago Vujanić, Milan Ivanić, Mile Došenović, Jugoslav Rodić, Milorad Bilbija, and Simo Simetić.
The accused are charged with participating in a joint criminal enterprise involving the illegal detention of thousands of non-Serb civilians. The charges allege that detainees were held in camps without evidence, subjected to physical torture, and caused severe physical and mental suffering. It is reported that at least 40 detainees died, while more than 1,600 were forcibly moved to the Manjača military camp and subsequently deported.
Of the 26 points in the indictment, only two sub-points were rejected by the court. The rejection involved specific events related to the accused Ivanić and Vujanić, Došenović, and Ivanić due to insufficient evidence of reasonable suspicion for those particular incidents.
