Indie developers launch new hand-drawn psychological horror games
Two independent developers are releasing new hand-drawn psychological horror titles.
Turkish developer Error Thing has introduced a demo for Deperson, a choice-driven adventure. The game follows Aaron Morozov, a man searching for answers in the surveillance-heavy nation of Indrija after waking up with no memories. Players make decisions that influence the protagonist's personality and the ultimate fate of the characters involved.
Cupkisu Studios has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Nightmere I, a detective-mystery game set in 1991. The project, which reached its CA$15,000 funding goal within three hours, follows investigator Amelia as she searches for a missing student. The studio is pursuing stretch goals that include localizations, animated cutscenes, and potential console ports for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
