Several independent game publishers are highlighting new titles and demos during the Gamescom 2026 event.

Fireshine Games has announced several updates for the Awesome Indies Show, including a new public demo for the economic management simulator ‘Food Truck Empire’ and details regarding the ‘Frostburn’ update for ‘Far Far West’. Other titles featured in their Indie Arena Booth include ‘Isle Goblin’, ‘Denshattack!’, ‘Duskfade’, ‘Husk Protocol’, and ‘AEROMACHINA’.

Additionally, publisher indie. io is offering demos and discounts on Steam for players unable to attend the event in Cologne. Featured titles include the park management simulator ‘Monster Park Tycoon’, which involves managing creatures such as vampires and zombies, and the strategy game ‘Dunebound Tactics’, which has undergone reworkings based on player feedback.
