Indie game Witch the Showdown to launch same day as GTA 6

The indie title Witch the Showdown, developed by CitalesGames and published by Perp Games, has scheduled its Early Access launch for November 19, 2026. This release date coincides with the highly anticipated launch of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto VI on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Witch the Showdown is a roguelike title that combines real-time parry mechanics with deck-building elements. Set in a futuristic world where magic and technology coexist, the game features witch characters engaging in challenging combat. The gameplay requires precise timing to parry attacks and accumulate mana for card-based skills. The game includes five difficulty levels, a Duel Mode, and a Tournament Mode. While the indie title lacks the massive scale of the GTA 6 blockbuster, its decision to release alongside such a major industry milestone has drawn significant attention from the gaming community.
