Indie horror games announce Steam Next Fest participation

Several indie horror titles are set to participate in the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

Clear Rave has announced that the occult horror adventure ‘Resequence: The Orchard’ will be released on November 20, 2026, for PC via Steam. The visual novel, featuring art by fracoco and a scenario by Re,AER, follows a psychiatrist investigating supernatural phenomena through student counseling. A demo is currently available on Steam, and the game will be showcased at the Steam Next Fest and DigiGame Fest 2026.

Additionally, the developer FORCES is updating its asymmetric multiplayer horror game, ‘Kakureoni: Hide-and-Seek Horror’, for the Steam Next Fest starting October 20, 2026. The update introduces a second playable character for the ‘Oni’ side, known as ‘Kuchisake’, allowing for more strategic gameplay between the one hunter and four children. The game features a 3-minute survival loop set in an abandoned school.
