Indie Survival Games Yashi – Sand Driver and SHORE Announced

Developer Oneiric Worlds announced the post‑apocalyptic desert vehicular survival game Yashi – Sand Driver on July 28. The PC title will be released on Steam and itch.io, with a planned launch around 2027. Players control the lone survivor Yashi and his coyote companion, travelling across harsh dunes in a customizable van, managing food, water and resources while crafting tools and vehicle upgrades to reach the mysterious area called New Eden.

Indie studio Underdog also revealed SHORE on July 28, a cooperative multiplayer survival experience for up to four players on PC via Steam. Scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026, the game features physics‑driven rafts that tilt and shift in response to waves, weight distribution and currents. Players must coordinate rowing, avoid hazards such as sharks, icebergs and whirlpools, and explore abandoned islands, wrecks and debris while managing hunger and health.
