Indigenous Liberal Caucus condemns residential school denialism

The Indigenous Liberal Caucus has released an official statement condemning the rise of residential school denialism in Canada. The group expressed concern over an organization that is reportedly selling merchandise, including children's clothing, that supports the denial of the existence of children's graves at an Indian Residential School near Kamloops, British Columbia.

MP Jaime Battiste is among the six members of the caucus who signed the statement. The group emphasized that they will not allow such denialism to take root in the country, stating, “We will not be erased. We will not be silenced.”
