IndiGo flight makes emergency landing in Goa due to engine failure

An IndiGo flight, number 6E 2102, was forced to make an emergency landing at Manohar International Airport in Goa on Tuesday morning after experiencing engine issues. The flight, carrying 229 passengers, departed from North Goa at 9:16 AM heading for Delhi.

Following the technical malfunction, Air Traffic Control declared a full emergency. The aircraft successfully landed safely on runway 28 at approximately 9:51 AM. All passengers and crew members were evacuated without injury and were held in the boarding area.

IndiGo stated that the aircraft is currently undergoing inspection and maintenance. The airline is arranging alternative travel for passengers to reach their destination once the necessary clearances are obtained. The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the travelers.
