IndiGo flight returns to Trichy after mid-air technical snag

An IndiGo flight traveling from Trichy to Singapore returned to Trichy International Airport on Friday evening after experiencing a technical snag mid-air. The aircraft, carrying 127 passengers, departed at approximately 6:40 pm and circled the area for about two and a half hours while pilots reduced fuel to facilitate a safe landing.

Airport Director Gopalakrishnan confirmed that the aircraft landed safely at around 9 pm following continuous communication between airport officials and the flight crew. To assist the affected travelers, authorities arranged an alternative flight to ensure all 127 passengers could complete their journey to Singapore.
