IndiGo increases domestic service fees for infants and baggage

IndiGo has implemented a revision to its fare structure for several domestic flight services. The airline has increased the fee for infants traveling with an adult from ₹2,000 to ₹3,000. This charge applies to infants aged between three days and two years, who must travel on an adult's lap rather than in a separate seat. Under current policy, only one infant is permitted per adult passenger.

Other service fee increases include:

• Excess baggage: Raised from ₹700 per kilogram to ₹800 per kilogram. • Unaccompanied minors: Increased from ₹5,000 to ₹5,999. • Priority check-in and boarding: The combined fee rose from ₹450 to ₹650. • Travel certificates: Increased from ₹200 to ₹300.

While these changes affect various optional and passenger-related services, base airfares are not necessarily impacted by these specific revisions.
