Indila faces AI-generated hoax amid rumors of new album

French singer Indila, known for her diamond-certified album ‘Mini World’ and the hit ‘Dernière danse’, has recently been the subject of both AI-generated misinformation and rumors regarding her musical return.

A fake TikTok account, appearing to be verified, recently misled nearly 300,000 viewers by using a countdown to announce a mysterious comeback. The video, which was actually generated using artificial intelligence, showed the singer dancing to rap music and was not an official announcement.

Despite her long period of media absence since 2015, reports suggest significant progress on her second studio album. According to information previously reported by Le Parisien, the second album has reportedly been completed since December 2024, with the masters finished and singles selected, though an official release date remains unconfirmed.
