Indio Downey to star in lead role for film ‘Love In Vein’

Indio Downey, son of actor Robert Downey Jr., has been cast in his first lead role for the independent film ‘Love In Vein’. Written and directed by Will De Los Santos, the movie is an adaptation of the late Ryan Leone’s novel ‘Wasting Talent’.

Set against the underground landscape of Los Angeles, the story follows a character named Damien, played by Downey, as he navigates addiction, relationships, and self-destruction. Principal photography is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles during March and April 2027.

The film is being produced by Muse Productions in association with ArtHouse Gooning. Producer Chris Hanley, who previously worked with Robert Downey Jr. on ‘Two Girls and a Guy’, will produce alongside Orson Oblowitz, Tricia van Klaveren, and Ben D. Wallace. Jeffrey Gliwa is financing the project through Blue Shark Pictures and will serve as an executive producer.
