The Indios of the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) defeated the Cimarrones of the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) with a score of 42-20 in the opening game of the ONEFA 2026 season.

During the match held at the Complejo Deportivo Universitario, the Indios overcame an imprecise start to secure the victory.
