Indira Krishnan criticizes Rohit Roy over television remarks

Actress Indira Krishnan has criticized actor Rohit Roy following his controversial description of the television medium as a ‘dustbin’. Krishnan described the remark as ‘terrible’, particularly coming from a veteran actor who began his career in television.

Defending the medium, Krishnan emphasized that television provides a vital stage for skilled actors and has served as a launchpad for many successful film directors. She noted that television reaches every household and maintains a unique daily connection with audiences that other mediums cannot replicate.
