Inditex targets US growth and premium market expansion

Inditex CEO Óscar García Maceiras has expressed strong confidence in the group's growth potential, noting that the company currently holds a 2% global market share in fashion. A primary focus for the company is the United States, which serves as its second-largest market. The group expects to conclude the year with approximately 110 physical stores in the US and reports a healthy online operation capturing 0.5% of all fashion sales in that market.

In addition to geographic expansion, Inditex is strengthening its premium positioning through high-profile collaborations. Investment bank Jefferies estimates that the new Zara collection designed by John Galliano could generate sales approaching 100 million euros. This two-year partnership, which includes four collections, aims to bolster the brand's presence in higher-priced segments. Early indicators suggest high demand, with several items already sold out in online stores.
