Indo-Tibetan Border Police announces 282 Medical Officer vacancies

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has announced the recruitment of 282 Medical Officers for various positions. The application process opened on August 10, 2026, and is scheduled to close on September 8 or 9, 2026, depending on specific departmental timelines.

The vacancies are divided into three primary roles: - Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command): 5 posts - Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): 162 posts - Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): 115 posts

Eligibility requirements vary by position. Candidates for Assistant Commandant roles must hold an MBBS degree and permanent registration with the MCI, NMC, or a State Medical Council.
