Indonesia accelerates Detailed Spatial Plan development

The Indonesian Ministry of Agraria and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is accelerating the preparation of Detailed Spatial Plans (RDTR) across various regions. Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITN) Malang has been appointed to manage seven work packages covering 17 planning areas across multiple provinces, including West Java, Central Java, East Java, Southeast Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara, and North Maluku.

Simultaneously, the National Border Management Agency (BNPP RI) and the Ministry of ATR/BPN are discussing the delineation of planning areas for border regions. This includes the Maritaing National Border Area in East Nusa Tenggara and Toli-Toli in Central Sulawesi. These efforts aim to strengthen border governance by integrating sovereignty, security, development, and community welfare into spatial planning frameworks.
