Indonesia adds mobile driving‑license renewal services in Jakarta, Sleman

Indonesia's police traffic units are operating mobile SIM (driving‑license) renewal clinics in several locations. In Jakarta, the service runs on Sunday 14 June 2026 at two sites in East and West Jakarta, from early morning until just before noon, offering extensions for active SIM A and SIM C holders. A parallel mobile unit is scheduled for Bogor City at a Burger King outlet, while nearby cities such as Bekasi and Bandung follow separate timetables.

In Sleman (Yogyakarta province), the police have expanded options throughout June 2026. Standard office hours at the Satpas are Monday‑Friday 08:00‑11:00 and Saturday 08:00‑10:00. Mobile units visit neighbourhood locations on specific Tuesdays, for example Candibinangun (3 June) and Cangkringan (9 June). Additional pop‑up sites operate in a public‑service mall on 4, 11, 18 and 25 June. A night‑service "Simeru" is offered at Sleman City Hall every Saturday evening (19:00‑21:00) to accommodate workers. All services require the applicant’s original ID, current SIM, health certificate and a psychology test, and they only process extensions for active SIM A and C.

The programs aim to reduce queues and bring licensing services closer to residents, with a stated fee of roughly 80 000 IDR for most categories, excluding health and test costs.
