Indonesian Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas aims to complete the revision of Law Number 11 of 2006 regarding the Government of Aceh within this year. This legislative effort follows instructions from President Prabowo Subianto to coordinate closely with the House of Representatives (DPR RI).

A primary focus of the revision is the continuity of Aceh's Special Autonomy Funds (Dana Otsus), which are currently scheduled to expire in 2027. The revision will also address regulations concerning the special status and authority of the Aceh government.

Minister Supratman has held consultations with Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf, Vice Governor Fadhlullah, and members of the Aceh Regional People's Representative Council (DPRA) to ensure legal certainty before the current mandate ends.
