Indonesia and Singapore Air Forces Conduct Junior Officer Exchange Program

The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) and the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) held a Junior Officer Exchange Program in late July 2026 at several TNI AU bases. The annual reciprocal program, running from July 21 to July 29, aimed to improve human‑resource quality and deepen bilateral defence cooperation.

Air Commodore I Nyoman Suadnyana, head of the Air Force information service, said officers from both forces exchanged knowledge on defence technology, systems and organisational structures. Delegates visited facilities such as Helicopter Squadron Group 2 and flight‑simulator centres, gaining insight into each other’s operational capabilities and readiness. The programme is expected to boost professionalism of air‑defence officers and further strengthen defence ties between Indonesia and Singapore.
