Indonesia badminton team begins European tour

The Indonesian badminton team has departed for a European tour following the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. The squad is scheduled to compete in three consecutive BWF World Tour tournaments: the Denmark Open Super 750 (October 13–18), the French Open Super 750 (October 20–25), and the Hylo Open Super 500 (October 27–November 1).

Men's doubles coach Antonius Budi Ariantho noted that the preparation period is limited, with only about ten days between the Asian Games and the start of the European circuit. The coaching staff is focusing on maintaining the physical condition and stability of veteran pairs such as Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin. Additionally, the tour serves as a significant testing ground for younger pairs like Devin Artha Wahyudi and Ali Faathir Rayhan as they compete at the Super 750 level.
