Indonesia begins phased distribution of PKH and BPNT social assistance
The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs has begun the phased distribution of the fourth stage of social assistance for the October–December 2026 period. This stage includes the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) and Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai (BPNT).
Funds are being disbursed through various channels, including Himbara state-owned banks, PT Pos Indonesia, and Kartu Keluarga Sejahtera (KKS) accounts. Distribution is not simultaneous; it depends on administrative processes, data verification, and account readiness. For BPNT, reports indicate a quarterly amount of approximately Rp600,000, though beneficiaries are advised to confirm specific amounts through official Ministry channels.
Beneficiaries must be registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) to receive aid. To check their status, recipients can use the official website cekbansos.kemensos.go.id by entering their regional data and 16-digit NIK, or by checking KKS account mutations and consulting program facilitators.
