Indonesia blocks Snapboost ‘Click to Earn’ platform

Indonesia’s Task Force for the Eradication of Illegal Financial Activities (Satgas Pasti) has suspended the operations of the digital platform Snapboost, labeling its “Click to Earn” (C2E) scheme an illegal investment activity. The platform required users to deposit money and promised daily income, membership bonuses, commissions for recruiting new members, and prizes such as motorcycles and cars. Satgas Pasti found that Snapboost had no registered legal entity, lacked a business licence, and was not listed as an Electronic System Provider with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs. The task force blocked access to the app and related URLs, coordinated with law‑enforcement agencies for further action, and warned the public to report any losses.

Authorities emphasized that schemes offering unrealistic short‑term returns and requiring upfront deposits pose a high risk of fraud.
