Indonesia extends social assistance registration via Perlinsos Digital

The Indonesian government has extended the registration period for social assistance recipients through the Perlinsos Digital portal until the end of 2026. This extension aims to provide broader access for citizens in need and includes features for self-service document completion and appeals.

In Batam, officials have reported that 97,997 families are already registered for social protection. Local authorities emphasize that registration is critical, as those not listed by the deadline will be ineligible for government social assistance programs. Registration in Batam is being conducted through community agents and independent digital services, with the Sagulung district recording the highest number of applicants.

A mandatory requirement for the registration process is the activation of the Digital Population Identity (IKD) account. Applicants must use their NIK and IKD PIN to log in to the official portal and complete a face recognition verification. Once verified, citizens can apply for specific programs such as the Family Hope Program (PKH) or Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT).
