Indonesia projected to lead global growth in ultra-wealthy population

Indonesia is projected to experience the world's fastest growth in the population of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) over the next five years. According to projections from real estate consultancy Knight Frank, the number of individuals with a net worth of at least US$30 million is expected to increase by 81.7% between 2026 and 2031.

This growth is attributed to Indonesia's large domestic market and expanding sectors such as commodities and digital finance. The projected growth rate surpasses other nations, including Saudi Arabia (63.2%) and Poland (62.6%).

Separately, regarding the 2026 KIP Kuliah scholarship program, students and prospective students can request updates to their family welfare decile data through the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) via the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN) website. Because decile data is sourced from DTSEN, changes cannot be made directly through KIP Kuliah accounts; they must be updated at the source to ensure priority access for those in deciles 1 through 4.
