Indonesia hosts 2026 CSR and Sustainable Village Development Awards

The Ministry of Villages and Disadvantaged Regions and the Indonesian Social Sustainability Forum (ISSF) held the 2026 CSR and Sustainable Village Development Awards. The event aimed to measure the success of Corporate Social Responsibility programs in supporting the 'Indonesia Emas 2045' vision. A total of 61 companies and individuals participated across 74 categories, with awards distributed in Gold, Silver, Bronze, and special recognition tiers.

In a separate community development initiative, PT Astra International Tbk is supporting the Gede Pangrango Village in Sukabumi, West Java, through its 'Desa Sejahtera Astra' program. The initiative focuses on health, education, environment, and entrepreneurship. Local economic efforts include developing unique products such as sapodilla (sawo) fruit sambal, palm sugar, and promoting river tubing tourism to enhance village self-sufficiency.
