Indonesia Hosts Successful FIP Bronze Series Padel Tournament in Banten

The International Padel Federation (FIP) Bronze Series was held in Banten, Indonesia from 13 to 19 July 2026. The event attracted athletes from roughly 30 nations, with 141 pairs competing for the title.

Ardian Satya Negara, chair of PBPI Banten, and officials from the national sports committee praised the tournament as a milestone for Indonesian padel, noting that the high‑level international participation will help raise the sport’s profile and competitiveness in the region.

Indonesian player Fitriani Sabatini, who reached the semifinals with Venezuelan partner Jessica Lucinda Palma Cruz, said the matches against seasoned foreign opponents provided valuable lessons. She highlighted the need for more domestic FIP events to further develop local talent.
