Indonesia integrates AI into trade and healthcare exhibitions
Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming a central focus in Indonesian trade and healthcare exhibitions. At the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026, the Trade Ministry is introducing AI services for the first time to help Indonesian talent access global markets. The initiative aims to leverage the large domestic market as an industrial base to promote high-tech, value-added products and services internationally.
Simultaneously, the 38th Indonesia International Hospital Expo in Tangerang is highlighting AI advancements in the medical sector. Featured technologies include voice-commanded dental chairs, AI-based cardiovascular risk assessment tools using retinal imaging, and robotic-assisted systems for knee replacement surgeries. These developments reflect a broader trend of integrating intelligence into industrial and clinical workflows.
