Various regions in Indonesia are intensifying efforts to detect and treat tuberculosis (TBC) through active case finding and integrated health programs.

In Pekanbaru, the Health Office has identified 3,605 cases as of September 20, 2026, which is 68.2 percent of the annual target of 5,280 cases. The city aims to achieve a 90 percent treatment success rate to align with national standards.

In Padang, officials estimate 4,847 cases for 2026, though only 55.8 percent (2,705 cases) have been identified as of mid-September. The city is utilizing central government resources to conduct active screening across 242 locations through November 2026.

In Cirebon Regency, health authorities are expanding tracing efforts to all 412 villages. As of the third week of September 2026, tracing has covered 340 villages and reached approximately 34,000 people. The program includes mobile X-ray units to assist in detection and provides free medical examinations.
