Indonesia men's volleyball team targets SEA V Cup 2026 title defense

The Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI) has set a target for the men’s national team to retain the SEA V Cup title in 2026 after winning the AVC Men’s Volleyball Cup earlier that year. Coach Reidel Toiran highlighted that the addition of experienced players Dio Zulfikri, Sigit Ardian and Fahreza Rakha Abhinaya will deepen the squad, which blends junior and senior talent. Captain Farhan Halim welcomed the senior influx, noting it will strengthen team cohesion.

The SEA V Cup’s first round will be held in Candon City, Philippines, from 15‑19 July, with Indonesia’s opening match against Cambodia on 16 July. The team, currently ranked 44th by the FIVB, also faced roster changes: top scorer Jasen Natanael Kilanta sits out due to his wife’s childbirth, and Dawuda Alaihissalam is replaced for strategic reasons.
