Indonesia's Ministry of Finance reports that the state budget (APBN) performance through September 2026 remains on track. State revenue has reached Rp 2,341.5 trillion, representing approximately 74.2% of the annual target. This includes Rp 1,607 trillion in tax revenue, a 24.1% increase from the previous year, while customs and excise revenue reached Rp 240.1 trillion.
State expenditure stands at Rp 2,660.5 trillion, or roughly 69.2% of the budget. Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara has set a target to maintain the budget deficit at 2.8% of GDP by the end of the year. The government remains optimistic about achieving this goal, supported by President Prabowo Subianto’s economic outlook.
Inflation is currently reported at 3.28% year-on-year, which the Ministry considers stable. To maintain investor confidence, the Ministry is emphasizing synergy between fiscal and monetary policies, specifically strengthening coordination with Bank Indonesia and Danantara.
