Indonesia opens 2026 Sekolah Kedinasan registration

Registration for the 2026 Sekolah Kedinasan (government-affiliated schools) civil servant candidate (CPNS) track officially opened on August 18, 2026. The registration period is scheduled to run until August 30, 2026.

The government has prepared 4,770 civil servant positions through this track, an increase from the 3,257 positions available in 2025. Nine institutions under the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform are participating, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Law, Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) has established a comprehensive selection timeline. Following the registration period, administrative selection will take place from August 18 to September 1, 2026, with results announced between September 2 and 3. A dispute period for administrative results is set for early September. The selection process will continue with the Basic Competency Test (SKD) using the BKN Computer Assisted Test (CAT) system, scheduled for late September through early October 2026.
