Indonesia palm oil TBS prices high in Bengkulu Selatan, Pasaman Barat

In Bengkulu Selatan, the price of fresh palm fruit bunches (TBS) held steady at Rp2,700 per kilogram at PT Sinar Bengkulu Selatan (SBS) and Rp2,800 per kilogram at PT Bengkulu Sawit Lestari (BSL). The local agriculture office expressed hope that the price stability will continue and eventually rise, noting that stable prices support farmer incomes after a recent sharp decline.

In Pasaman Barat, TBS prices rose sharply, reaching a peak of Rp3,912.72 per kilogram paid by PT Gunung Sawit Abadi, the highest level nationally for the period 8‑14 July 2026. Prices for other buyers ranged from about Rp3,160 to Rp3,400 per kilogram, with the provincial average now the highest in Indonesia. The increase is expected to boost earnings for palm oil farmers in the district.

Both regions report that higher TBS prices are intended to improve farmer welfare and sustain the local plantation economy.
