Indonesia increases 2027 state budget targets by Rp9.1 trillion
The Indonesian government and the House Budget Committee (Banggar) DPR RI have agreed to revise the 2027 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBN) posture. Both state expenditure and revenue targets have been increased by Rp9.1 trillion from previous projections.
Specifically, the 2027 state expenditure is now set at Rp4,106.3 trillion, which includes Rp3,371.3 trillion for central government spending. This increase is balanced by a rise in the state revenue target to Rp3,435.1 trillion. This revenue growth is driven by a tax revenue target of Rp2,912 trillion and projected non-tax state revenue (PNBP) of Rp522.5 trillion. Despite these increases, the budget deficit is maintained at 2.4% of GDP.
Additionally, the House Commission XI has approved a Rp49.8 trillion budget for the Ministry of Finance for 2027. The largest portion of this allocation, totaling Rp45.81 trillion, is designated for the Management Support Program. Regional transfer funds (TKD) remain unchanged at Rp735 trillion.
