Indonesia Police Verify Authenticity of Gold and US Dollars Seized in Febrie Adriansyah Corruption Case

Jakarta police confirmed that the assets seized in the investigation of former deputy attorney‑general Febrie Adriansyah are genuine. The evidence includes 74 kg of gold bars, US$889,965, Singapore dollars worth S$3,130,000 and Indonesian rupiah amounting to roughly Rp 60 billion. Verification was carried out by PT Pegadaian for the gold, Bank Indonesia for the rupiah, and US agencies – the FBI and United States Secret Service – for the US dollars. The police are awaiting a final confirmation document for the Singapore‑dollar notes.

The seizure resulted from raids on 12 locations, uncovering hidden safes and multiple suitcases containing the valuables. Authorities described the total value of the assets in local currency at approximately Rp 476 billion.
